Does it work in salt water? No, the AWA is designed for freshwater only.

How much will it filter? The AWA filter is rated to a minimum flow of 300 liters, that’s around 100 days of drinking water!

How will I know it’s reached its limit? As the water passes through the filter, it will eventually block over time meaning you can no longer drink through it. There is no risk of drinking without filtration

Can I replace the filters? No, the AWA is a sealed unit to ensure there is no contamination. Once it has reached it’s lifespan it is disposable.

Lifespan: At least 100 days of drinking water (300+ Litres depending on the water quality). When it's lifespan is reached, water will no longer flow freely.
Shelf Life: 5 years since first use. Indefinite life if stored in original airtight packaging.
Removes: Waterborne pathogens (99.99% of viruses, 99.9999% of bacteria, 99.9% of protozoan cysts), including Rotavirus, Hepatitis A, Norovirus, Giardiasis, Cryptosporidium, E. Coli, Cholera, Salmonella, Dysentery and more.
